BIA Route 125 Reopen – Public Notice March 3, 2026 3:00PM MST
RNDOT is happy to announce that bridge repairs on BIA Route 125 have been completed earlier than expected. As of 3:00 PM MST on March 3, 2026, the road has been reopened to public traffic.
We kindly remind all motorists to follow posted speed limits in the area and remain vigilant. There is still some construction material near the bridge in Mountain View, and crews or equipment may still be present on-site.
This is only the beginning of the road system improvements in Mountain View and the Ramah Navajo community. There is loose gravel on both sides of the new bridge as further development will be taking place west and east of the bridge on BIA Route 125. We are improving the drainage system, sidewalks, and pavement in the Mountain View area, and we are also addressing the curve west of the bridge to correct the previous road design. This bridge replacement is the first steps in a series of road improvements planned for the Ramah Navajo community.
PLEASE SLOW DOWN as you approach the bridge for your safety. Do not speed into or out of construction zone. We expect all motorists to drive responsibly during these improvement projects.
